Mathematics
Tutoring for Mathematics courses is facilitated through group study sessions, one to one appointment sessions, and study hall. Our tutoring sessions are to support you through the duration of your mathematics course. All of our mathematics tutors are highly knowledgeable in their subject matter and are trained in a variety of techniques to support your learning style. Our sessions are designed to give you a deeper understanding of concepts or explore questions you have regarding the material presented by your instructor. Tutoring sessions are designed to reinforce your understanding of course topics and are not meant as replacements for classroom instruction.

Types of Mathematics Study Sessions
GROUP SESSIONS
Group Sessions: Our group sessions are constructed by grouping 2-8 students from the same course and instructor, and if possible meeting time. Each group meets weekly for a 50 minute session with a qualified tutor in their subject.
STUDY HALL
Study Hall: is offered on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings from 6pm-8pm in the Chapman Academic Science Center (Building 53 Room S222). We have multiple tutors who have an understanding of a variety of mathematics course subjects. Students are allowed to come in as they need help. During study hall students are allowed to form groups or work individually.
DROP-IN APPOINTMENTS
A drop-in appointments is a 50 minute session a tutor has available where a student can sign up to schedule an individual meeting. Our drop-in hours do vary by subject and are dependent on the tutors’ availability. To see which hours are available or to schedule an appointment, please contact the ASAP front desk.
