Online Writing Lab 

NEW! CSUMB students can now get electronic feedback via the ASAP Online Writing Lab located in 
MY CSUMB. 

Receive reader-based feedback on writing projects and assignments from qualified ASAP peer-writing assistants.  Papers will not be edited or proofread.  Writing assistants offer advice and suggestions to guide revisions and editing, just like we would in an ASAP face-to-face session.    Be advised submissions will be read only during ASAP open hours--see writing schedule link for more information 4082.   Follow these steps to upload a paper:

1.) Log into your MY CSUMB account 

2.) On your Dashboard, select “Students” 

3.) Find the link “Submit Paper” on the right hand side. 

4.) Read Expectations for the Online Session 

5.) Complete online form and attach paper 

6.) Anticipated turnaround time: 1-2 University business days.  Document will be returned with audio feedback via CSUMB email.
